I have been a printmaker from an early age, always experimenting and playing with processes, breaking with tradition and exploring new ways of making. After spending many lunchtimes in the school art department, I went on to study illustration at the University of Westminster, London, and later trained to teach art at Bath Spa University, U.K. As an educator I have learnt the importance of mistakes and failure to develop my practice and break boundaries.
My current work marries my love for the outdoors with innovative print processes. Essentially a one off printed painting with a hand drawn image screen printed over the top.

Flora of Aotearoa
Inspired by bush walks in and around Wellington, I strive to use vibrant colour and playful imagery to capture the unique quality of NZ flora.
I have had numerous exhibitions in Wellington and exhibited at The South Wellington Art Show and Island Bay Art Auction. I am excited to be part of the NZ Art Show for 2021.
